Boiled wool

This is a cell phone cozy pattern that I made up for my own cell phone. I used boiled wool, a heart shaped large button and some pearls that used to be a pair of cheap earrings of my grandmothers. The purse is a pattern from a Japanese craft book that I used boiled wool and some beads and yarn to make. Its not lined or anything because its just a bag for holding my current knitting project in.
The hats and scarves are from clearance sale fleece and a Green Pepper pattern. I made one for each of my boys, their girlfriends, and my men friends. I also made a pair of mittens to go with each scarf and hat so that they all have sets. I don't have pictures of all the sets as they were mostly already wrapped in christmas paper.
I plan to make a cell cozy for each of my girlfriends this week as their late Xmas gifts. I had too many people to sew for this year and didnt get finished in time.
All told there were 12 sets of mitts, hats and scarves. And I am still working on the mitts. Everyone likes them though so they dont care if they have to wait. I saw a picture on the net of a fleece scarf that had all of the edges done in lettuce on the serger. So I am going to make one with some beautiful silk embroidery thread and see how that comes out.
I have so much wool that I am going to make up a ton of the bitty booties to sell on etsy and ebay in January. The last ones sold so well.
