More quilting

I am learning about color and how to use it in the quilts. Not doing so great yet. The dark blue in this one was wrong. Should have been a lighter color. This time I did cut and sew one square first. Next time will do 3 or four to really see how it will look first.
I used the slim cotton batting for this and wish I had used the high loft. It is too thin for my taste.



I found some invisible thread at Walmart and used that one the darker colors. I like it a lot but you only get 500 ft per spool. And it isnt too great to use becuase you cant back tack, or not on my Pfaff anyway.
This one is in the works now, cutting it out today with very similar colors since I like it so much.



This one is next. Then its all Christmas runners and wall hangings and such for the family. I have lots of red and greens. Everyone loves Xmas stuff.
