Booties and a purse from japanese craft book

The pattern for this purse came from a Kaaza book that I bought on Ebay. Very easy to make. I used my bags of wool to find some materials that matched well enough. I used cotton striped material for the lining and pockets inside. An old reclaimed purse handle. I harvested about 9 old purses over the weekend to use for making purses. The handles and the clasps are great.

These are the Heather Bailey bitty booties in fleece with ribbons. I added little self-biased strips around the top part instead of the cheesey mattress stitch that Ive seen a lot of people use on these. It looks better and the bootie is more stable this way. A little more work but end item is stronger and lasts longer.
More HB in fleece with yo yos
