Mediterrenean Lace shawl, this is my favorite and next on the list
Even a doyley, I started this one today.
Julie at J-knits.com sent me this. Its her newest yarn called "Lace-a-Liscious" and its awsome. Its lace weight and so very soft and hairy. The color is to die for. I am making the shetland shawl with this.
This is the infamous polwarth fleece that I carded, spun, navajo plied, and am knitting the basilica hat from cidermoon . The pattern is called Basilica and there is also a set of mittens included in this pattern that I will knit in the same yarn.
This yarn ended up being very very soft after all. You can see in this pic the yellow butt ends that I was so worried about. I almost sent this fleece back due to scurf, yellow on all butt ends and the extreme care that has to be used in carding/spinning. But I wanted some polwarth so badly and its so extremely soft that I endured and found the best way to prep and spin this stuff. It was worth it too.
